Who doesn’t love red velvet? My love for red velvet cake began shortly after I arrived on this mighty earth 🙂




What if gorgeous red velvet recipe is fused with the all time favourite French toast ? Magical 🙂

Today we are going to share a simple RED VELVET FRENCH TOAST recipe

 

Makes 4 toasts

All you will need is :

2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon red food colouring
4 slices bread, halved (so you end up with 8 bread halves)

Vanilla Bean Cream Filling:




1 Cup Whipped cream
1 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Lets get started 😀

For French Toast

Combine together eggs, buttermilk, sugar,cocoa , vanilla and red food colouring in a large bowl until you get a smooth mix

Dip bread slices into the mix properly so that it gets properly and evenly coated

Heat butter in a non stick pan and fry the breads until properly cooked.

For Cream Filling:

Combine the whipped cream , sugar and vanilla in a medium sized bowl, and whip until light and fluffy. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of filling onto 6 toast halves; spread to evenly coat; top with remaining toast halves to create a sandwich. Drizzle with melted chocolate and enjoy the deliciousness 😀
