Recently we tried vegetarian’s favourite McDonald’s  McSpicy Paneer and results were amazing.A balanced blend of freshly caramelized bread, tender and soft crispy coated Paneer which has spicy and dairy notes, fresh crisp lettuce and creamy tandoori mayonnaise taste. This mighty burger treat wont only satisfy your need for spice but also satiate your hunger!Go Ahead ,try it out and be amazed.

Here’s how to make it








You will need :

4 Tbsp All purpose flour
3 Tbsp Paprika
1 Tbsp Peri Peri seasoning 1 tablespoon
2 Tbsp Corn starch
1 Tbsp Corn meal
4 Tbsp Cornitos crushed
2 Tbsp Bread crumbs
4 Tbsp Mayonnaise
3 Tbsp Red Chilli Tomato Ketchup (optional)
1/2 Tsp Tabasco
Lettuce Leaves
Burger bun
Salt to taste
Paneer/Cottage cheese
Oil for frying
Orange food colour (optional)




Method :

For coating :

In a large bowl,mix all purpose flour,corn starch,corn meal,salt,paprika and peri peri mix.Add some water and make a paste of pouring consistency.

In a separate bowl, mix together crushed cornitos,seasoned breadcrums and smoked paprika for making dry coating

Soak Dip the cottage cheese/paneer slice first in the wet coating.then roll it in the dry coating mixture.

Deep fry it in hot oil til, it turns golden brown.

For Tandoori Mayonnaise :

Mix Mayonnaise with paprika powder and few drops of Tabasco sauce.Add chilli sauce(if you want to make it extra hot).Pour few drops of orange food color (optional).

Final arrangement :

Slice the burger bun in two halves. Pre-heat them in oven.

Pour tandoori Mayonnaise followed by fresh lettuce leaf.

Place the fried Cottage cheese on it.Top it up with slice of cheese.

Team it up with a glass of coke and potato fries.Enjoy!
