Ingredients

For the Floats:

  • 2 cups (500ml) milk
  • 2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder, we used Hershey’s
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Dark Chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

Vanilla ice cream, for serving, at least one scoop per cup
For Decorating the Cups, optional:

  • ¼ cup Melted Chocolate
  • Chopped Chocolate




Directions

For Decorating the Cups:

  • Turn the cup upside down and dip the rim into the chocolate,  twist it around to make sure its well coated.
  • Chill the cups in the fridge or freezer to set.

For the Floats:

  • Place the milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat (for 2 min).
  • Add cocoa , sugar and Chopped Chocolate to the milk.
  • Heat the mixture, whisking constantly but gently, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is simmering, about 5-8 minutes. Do not let it come to a boil.
  • Pour the hot chocolate mixture in a cup and Place one scoop (or more if preferred) of vanilla ice cream on top of it.
  • Garnish with chopped chocolate, Serving right away.
