  1. Tomato Soup

    Who doesn’t like tomato soup? HungryBoo loves it too. So, it  should always stand at first.  For tomato soup, 3 ingredients: tomatoes, onion and butter, are all you need. Melt butter on medium heat in a vessel. Add onion wedges and tomatoes. Then add salt and simmer for 40 minutes. Blend creamy soup to a smooth paste. Serve hot with a cheese sandwich or rolls.

  2. Tomato Pasta

    Here’s a simplest recipe to prepare tomato pasta within 20 minutes. Boil water with salt in a pot. Add pasta to it and cook for 5 minutes. Take some butter in a pan on medium heat. Add pureed tomatoes to it and cook for 2-3 min. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

    Prepare healthy salad from cucumbers and tomatoes. Combine diced cucumber, tomatoes, chopped parsley and onion in a bowl. Season with vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Enjoy!

    Stuffed tomato ( Bharwa tamatar) is a tasty Indian dish prepared by stuffing tomatoes with potatoes, onion and garlic. Slice the tops off the tomatoes. Scoop out the pulp and reserve to use in the filling. Keep aside the tomato shells. Keep the tops too. Heat one and a half tablespoons of oil in a pan, add chopped onion and garlic and fry till golden. Add the mashed potatoes, green peas, chopped green chilies, tomato pulp, chopped ginger, salt and garam masala powder.Stir and cook over low heat for about five minutes until properly blended. Divide this filling into eight portions. Fill each tomato shell with this mixture and re-place the sliced off tops. Secure with a toothpick.Heat the remaining oil in a wide pan, add cumin seeds. When they change color gently place the stuffed tomatoes. Cover and cook for about seven minutes. Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Tomato Bhaji

    Tomato bhaji or sabzi is a yummy tomato recipe that can be served as an accompaniment to any veggie or curry dish. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan on medium heat.Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida to it.Add garlic, onions, curry leaves,green chilies and fry until onions turn golden brown. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder and cook for a min. Now add tomatoes and salt to taste.Stir in all the ingredients.Cover and cook the tomatoes until soft.Once soft, Mash the tomatoes gently with back of the ladle or potato masher.Now add sugar and stir.As sugar gets dissolved, add roasted peanuts and stir it in (optional).Tomato Bhaji can be served with Chapati’s or Paranthas. A perfect dish for your lunch box.
